DST Health Solutions Hires Vice President of Sales and Marketing; Vice President of Information Technology; and Strategic Investment and Research Development Officer

Dr. Robert Thompson to Drive Sales Efforts, Rob Kennedy to Direct Information Technology, Joey White to Lead New Product Development

BIRMINGHAM, Ala., June 6, 2006— DST Health Solutions, Inc. today announced the appointment of three leading healthcare information technology veterans: Dr. Robert Thompson as vice president of sales, marketing and account management; Rob Kennedy as vice president for information technology; and Joey White as officer for strategic investment and research development.

Thompson is leading the efforts to enhance the DST Health Solutions information technology brand in the healthcare payer and provider markets, to increase sales, and to deliver extraordinary customer service to its 300-plus clients. Before joining DST Health Solutions, Thompson managed multi-million dollar sales and marketing operations in manufactured products, software, consulting, and service industries in a distinguished sales career spanning more than 25 years. Previously, he was vice president of McKesson's corporate solutions group.

Kennedy is directing DST Health Solutions' work to enhance and maintain the technology framework for both new and existing clients. Additionally, he is providing oversight for the development of service-oriented architecture (SOA) components that will allow customers to leverage existing technology investments while adding new capabilities. Kennedy's 25 years of experience in the healthcare IT industry has included positions with Aetna, First Consulting Group, McKesson, Humana and most recently UnitedHealth Group.

White is leading strategic research and development of DST Health Solutions' new products, including development of SOA frameworks. These frameworks include components that add rich functionality to administrative processing for payers transitioning to the consumer-directed healthcare market, as well as an integration platform that will facilitate the evolution from legacy to SOA technologies. Because these components can integrate with most legacy systems, they allow health plans to upgrade at their own pace.
