DST Systems and SalesPage to Integrate Transaction Resolution and Sales Management

Distributor Product Suite will Offer a Unique Solution for Fund Distributors

KANSAS CITY, MO. May 17, 2004 – DST Systems, Inc. has teamed with SalesPage Technologies to provide a best-in-class solution for transaction resolution and sales management. Distributor Product Suite will integrate mutual fund shareowner data from DST’s TA2000 recordkeeping platform with SalesPage’s customer relationship management (CRM) tools. The solution will bring together critical operations and sales data, streamlining transaction and asset reconciliation while enhancing sales and marketing initiatives.

Designed specifically for fund companies, Distributor Product Suite will feature two component models to meet clients’ diverse needs. The Transaction Resolution component will provide, in an accurate and timely fashion, data to manage resolution and sales activities. It will integrate transfer agency and distributor processes, providing a single interface to maintain firm, office and representative (FOR) data; update FOR information on shareowner accounts; and research transaction details.

The Sales Analyzer component will combine transaction resolution capabilities with SalesPage’s fund.space ® CRM tool. All transaction, sales and client data will be available to both operations and distribution personnel, making sales and marketing efforts more effective. Distributor Product Suite will become a comprehensive sales management tool, providing real-time trade management while enhancing sales workflow.

Distributor Product Suite will be released First Quarter 2005. Planned enhancements to Distributor Product Suite’s functionality include integration with DST’s Universal Dealer Service (UDS), a service for fund companies that draws on DST’s comprehensive database of FOR information. This solution will provide yet another resource to deliver timely and accurate FOR information for both operations and distribution organizations.
